How about any ideas for a kosher olive oil based mayo? ![]() If canola is a no no, then any ideas for an olive oil based salted coconut butter (the kind that is immitation butter that you keep in the fridge)? Also I like mayo and that would have canola too. I also want to know am I allowed to have alcohol on this diet? Think a tiny sip of wine or vodka on Shabbos.Īlso is Canola oil allowed? I just realized the coconut butter I love has canola in it. Besides the tomatoes I put rommaine lettuce, persian cucumbers, scallions, pickles, olives, extra virgin olive oil, tehina, lemon juice, and balsamic vinegar.Īlso I like pumpkin seeds but according to cronometer one ounce serving has over 8 grams of protein which is usually too much for me based on the other protein I eat throughout the day. I find the tomatoes are also making me go over on my carbs for the day. Any ideas for a lower carb milk? Is walnut milk better? Or maybe I should try to see if I tolerate the taste of half water / half milk?Īlso I eat a large salad for lunch (a full 2 pound container) and I like mixing in tomatoes. And I don't want to cut the two drinks out since I mix in lots of fat like butter or coconut oil which helps me meet my fat calorie requirements. ![]() I very much dislike coffee made with water. I like drinking decaff coffee with 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk once for breakfast and once with lunch and I find that both the coffee itself and the almond milk are making me go over my carbs unless the cronometer app is wrong? It tells me that one prepared cup of decaf coffee has 1.3 grams of carbs and something similar for the almond milk. I am having the following issues I would like to tweak: I have been eating plenty of salt and taking one teaspoon of cream of tartar per day. I am using the Cronometer app to help me keep track. A special thanks to Andrea Levy for the inspiration. Thank you all for info and tips I learned on this site and thankfully I did not have any keto flu. I am trying to stick to 20 g net carbs, 55 g protein and the rest from fat about 140 g for a total of 1565 calories per day. ![]() I am on the keto diet now since the past 2 weeks. ![]()
